Can you already believe it is mid-February? I feel like this is the time of year when things start to get real…and the work piles on. Testing is coming, conferences are coming, and (thankfully) spring break is only a calendar page away! In honor of all the hard work you are doing and how little time you are getting to do it, I wanted to share a few of my favorite freebies with you.
Working on learning all those famous people in your standards? There are over 30 people mentioned in my state’s social studies standards alone! Here’s a quick and easy way to give students an opportunity to study these individuals without it taking ALL. YEAR. LONG!
Focus your kids on the important details with this Biography Report Foldable Flipbook.
My next favorite freebie is a math game. Area and perimeter are always so confusing for kids. This Area and Perimeter Sort & Match activity is perfect as a center, a game, or as a full-class review for a grade.
Another math freebie I love are these multiplication stick puzzles. I am all about working on math fact fluency in fun ways, and this is another great station or partner activity. Plus it is super easy to prep. Print each copy on a different color so you can easily sort them if they get mixed up (or one magically appears two days later!)
You can check out all my freebies (there are nearly 20!) by popping over to my TPT store.
